Arts and Artists in Paris Montparnasse & Saint Germain des Près (latin quarter in Paris)
Modigliani, Picasso, Fujita, Chagall, Léger, Soutine, Brancusi, Zadkine, Man Ray, Apollinaire, Hemingway or perhaps Aragon, Sartre and Beauvoir: they were all regulars in Montparnasse and Saint Germain des Près at the beginning of the 20th century.
The area was a breeding ground of talent and the artists would all meet up in the area between Le Dôme and La Coupole, the two foremost chic brasseries in this Paris 's quarter. The Le Select, la Rotonde, La Closerie des Lilas, Wadja and La Crèmerie chez Charlotte joined their ranks.
Legendary places, steeped in history, where it is always fun to set the world to rights, right next to the Jardin du Luxembourg and 10 minutes walk from Saint-Germain.
